Who supports me?
My family. My mom and my dad have always supported and encouraged me to keep drawing. Both of my parents are talented artists. Although, they are working professionals, their talent is still with them. I got my drawing skills from my mother, Adriana, who loves to draw too. My father, John, sculpted when he was younger, but now, he is into tech. Without their support, I couldn’t continue to draw since they are my #1 fans.
What do I do?
As of right now, I will be a 5th grader. I love school, I love my friends the The Purrs, I love to read, and most of all, I love to draw. Thank you for the opportunity to show you my art.
About the Developer and Parent
I am originally from Cali, Colombia. My mother moved a lot and I was always between Cali (Colombia), Neiva (Colombia), and New York (USA), until we finally settled in New York City. I always had a talent for art. I was into sculpting in my youth and teenage years. I was really good, to the point that I got an scholarship with the help of one of my teachers from High School. I was really excited, but my happiness did not last. I was not able to take advantage of the scholarship because I was undocumented at the time. This hurt me, it hurt me a lot. Nothing worse than that feeling you get from missing opportunities that might only come around once in your life. I would always look at the statues at the top of Grand Station on 42nd St, and thought to myself that I was able to do that type sculpting. I dreamt of becoming an artist, but in the end, I became a different type of artist, one who develops and creates virtually. Developers, in essence, are artists, they thrive on inspiration.
Given my bad experience, I decided to help my daughter (E.Quint) get on the ladder of achievements and give her a base where she can do the best she can to display her art and fulfill her desire of becoming a famous artist. This is the first step on the ladder.
